NRF – Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an efficient Warehouse Manager to direct the reception, storage and distribution activities. You will oversee the efficient reception, storage, set-up and value-added dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you will need to be able to ensure that productivity goals are met and that all warehouse processes run smoothly and in a timely manner. To determine the scale of NRF Poland warehouse operations: the size of NRF Poland warehouse is currently 10,000 m2, and will grow to > 20,000 m2 at the beginning of the 2022. The estimated scale of shipments is up to 500 pallets per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage the warehouse in accordance with the policies and vision of the company
  • Supervise reception, storage, distribution and maintenance activities
  • Warehouse processes improvement and implementation
  • Arrange the layout and ensure efficient use of space
  • Initiate, coordinate and implement optimal operating policies and procedures
  • Respect all legal requirements for storage, handling and shipping
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and protection
  • Manage stock control and compare it with the data storage system
  • Prepare the annual budget
  • Act as a liaison with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan job rotations, assign jobs correctly, and assess results
  • Hire, select, guide, advise and motivate employees (team > 50 people)
  • Present reports and statistics periodically (IN / OUT status report, inventory report without movement, etc.)
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of the services provided

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable work experience as a warehouse manager – at least 5 years
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
  • Excellent English skills
  • Experience in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Demonstrable ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Project Management skills
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs
  • Hands-on experience with database and warehouse management software
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
